I’ve always prided myself on my flexibility, wearing different hats and seamlessly adapting to changes. But what truly defines my approach is empathy—a core value that enables me to deeply understand clients, stakeholders, and team members, fostering the creation of both visually appealing and profoundly useful products.
Why Visual Design
My passion for visual design dates back to my childhood. I marveled at cartoons, movies, advertisements, printed media, and digital graphics, wondering about the magic behind them. Studying graphic design at Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia, provided the solid foundation I needed.
What excites me most is the challenge of crafting designs that captivate the eye and effectively convey a brand's essence. The dynamic nature of ecommerce design particularly enthralls me; it constantly evolves, pushing me to stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies.
My Path to Human
My professional journey led me through diverse industries—fashion, food, and sports brands—working with local marketing agencies in Colombia since 2015. Working in digital content and ecommerce further broadened my horizons. However, my thirst for knowledge and a global perspective in design drove me to seek opportunities beyond borders.
Joining Human was a natural choice. The team’s people-centric approach, coupled with their expertise and a culture that values work-life balance, resonated deeply with me.
In my free time, I enjoy drawing and painting, crafting, and staying curious about the latest in design and technology by attending meetups and workshops in my city.
