I always envisioned my future would go in a very specific direction, and I assumed that I would naturally have it all figured out. News flash: it was quite the opposite. If you asked me five years ago where I saw myself now, I would have had it all wrong.

I attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, where I studied Visual Communications, and at that time, I still wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do. I was offered an opportunity to work in child care, and while that was very different from what I was studying, I ran with it. 

I truly enjoyed working with children, but after years went by, I felt like something big was missing from my life. I started to really focus on trying new things and finding my passion(s). I bounced around from starting a childcare recruitment agency, working as a personal assistant and working at a digital marketing agency. 

My Path to Human

When I started at my first digital agency, it just clicked—I thrived in a client-facing environment as the main support system for my teammates, specifically in marketing. The previous agencies I worked for taught me so much of what I know today, but I knew I was ready for a role with more growth opportunities—enter Human. 

I am so grateful to be working with a team of such amazing individuals with so much knowledge to share. I’m looking forward to bringing the extensive project management and organizational skills I’ve acquired from my past roles and applying it to the projects at Human. 

When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my husband and toddler, cooking up my next recipe, or buried deep in a thriller book!
